the good thing about working close to home
…is that I can run home on my lunch breaks. The bad thing is that I’d really rather just take 15 mins and pound out my day to go home earlier. Back to work for about 3.5 hrs!

Wow so I know I’ve been somewhat absent for a while sooooo here’s the down and dirty of it:
-2 Fridays ago got fired effective May 21
-following Monday told a coworker what happened, got the hookup from another coworker, interviewed Tuesday, knew I was getting an offer Wednesday,got the amount Thursday, got the paper work Friday/Saturday, did the pee test last Monday, called it quits...
guess who gets to do a drug screening!?
Yeah that’s right…me kiddos. Oh did I mention that I wasted my good morning pee because my bowels were feeling like they’re going to explode? So I got up half an hr earlier than needed to chug crystal light. Not worried about the test. Just about needing to produce…a sample.

Ok so a few of my crazy coworkers pulled their sources yesterday and I am about to shove off on an interview! This is nuts! I submitted my resume during my morning break yesterday and by my afternoon break I was returning a call to schedule my interview for 10 AM this morning. I feel a bit crazy because this is so rushed but I’m not one to turn down a good thing!

If I make it through this hw tonight, I'll be ok.

So this weekend has been fun filled. Hanging out with my emotions kinda sucks. But I’ve realized there’s nothing I can do but move forward. I’m kind of relieved. Its odd. I mean I took this job because I needed the healthcare but let’s be honest, I have my BS in Art. Being a receptionist is kinda…not my expertise. So yeah, maybe getting fired is a blessing....

today I got fired
Well actually future fired, like effective in 3 weeks. What BS. I work my ass off all day to get fired for not asking for more help when I needed it. I can just about guarantee that if I had asked my supervisor for help (which btw I told the HR woman in February that I was swamped) that I would have gotten fired for incompetency. Ugh I HATE today.

I’m really glad that I work close enough to home that I can live at my parents’ house rent free…
but omg would it seriously kill them to let me nap for an hr without having my door banged on 3 times
So today I went to my elementary/middle school bff’s older brother’s funeral (sorry if thats a bit hard to follow but hey thats the connection). In any case, I really didn’t want to go but my mom kept insisting that I should go…I just guess I thought I’d feel like a poser. I mean I didn’t really know her brother that well and its probably been about 10 years...

Today is one of those days where my policy is something to the effect of “stay out of my way or get smacked.”

Hokay so today is going to be a better day than yesterday. Yesterday I got my first written warning *grumble grumble grumble*, spilled coffee on my sweater, had a bra that liked to pop out of the top of my dress so I had to clip my sweater shut with a binder clip, I gained a pound in a week and I still didn’t finish my homework.

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiits gym day! So I’m continuing my awesome average of 1 day a week at the gym (what can I say…its been a rough…year so far). So my day consists of work til about 3, then going to BJs for soda and water, then off to the gym to run my butt off (well as much as I can at least).
